Join Us at the 52 Windows Fundraiser

April 01, 2026

COLUMBIA, S.C., April 1, 2026 – Experience an evening where fine art meets local impact at 52 Windows, the premier annual fundraiser for MIRCI (Mental Illness Recovery Center, Inc.). On Thursday, May 14th, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., the historic 701 Whaley will transform into a vibrant gallery featuring original works from some of the Midlands’ most talented artists: Ija Charles, Taylor Spreeuwers, Keith Tolen, Bill Davis, Anna Majure, Victoria Rickards, John Taylor, Bill Davis, Walker Covin, Amy Spencer, Tasha Bonaparte, Pascale Sexton, Sonya Diimmler, Marian Hornsby, and Alicia Leake.

Attendees will enjoy an immersive experience including a diverse silent auction of local art, live music, and heavy hors d'oeuvres. Much like the "windows" of opportunity MIRCI creates for its clients, this event offers a unique look into the heart of Columbia’s creative community while raising vital "funds and friends" for the organization.

MIRCI is a long-standing Midlands nonprofit that provides a way forward for hundreds of people with mental illness each year. Through an integrated array of behavioral and psychiatric healthcare services, homeless outreach programs, benefits assistance, and affordable housing options, MIRCI helps individuals navigate the emotional and practical uncertainties of recovery.

The event features a relaxed dress code—ranging from jeans to business casual or cocktail attire—ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all supporters. All proceeds from the evening directly support MIRCI’s "wrap-around" care model, which provides a comprehensive safety net for those experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

52 Windows is more than an art show; it is a celebration of resilience. Every ticket purchased helps us provide stable housing and mental health resources necessary for our neighbors to thrive.

Early-bird tickets end today. Tickets are available for purchase now at [Link to Ticket Site]

MIRCI is a nonprofit organization that provides pathways to recovery for people who are experiencing homelessness and/or mental illness. By offering essential outreach and affordable housing, MIRCI serves more than 1,300 people a year.
