Lipscomb Family Foundation Awards MIRCI $10,000 to support its Homeless Youth Drop-in Center
The Lipscomb Family Foundation has awarded MIRCI $10,000.00 to support its Youth Drop-in Center (YDC) for youth experiencing or at risk of homelessness. The YDC provides access to basic needs, behavioral healthcare, and referrals to community providers for youth age 17-24, so they can receive the resources needed to permanently exit homelessness. The Lipscomb Family Foundation grant will help fund these and other essential services offered by the YDC. Read More

MIRCI expands outreach services in response to COVID-19 pandemic
The Mental Illness Recovery Center Inc. (MIRCI) has increased its capacity to reach and assist individuals who are experiencing or at risk of mental illness and/or homelessness via a new facility funded by an Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG). At MIRCI’s new facility, located at 1516 Gregg Street in downtown Columbia, adults, age 25 and above, who are engaged with or referred to MIRCI’s Homeless Outreach Team, may receive behavioral healthcare screenings, benefits assistance, housing screenings, and referrals to outside agencies.
